About this policy
This policy explains when and why the Adonis Village Management Committee (AVMC) collect personal information about the owners of this village and how we use it and keep it secure together with owners’ rights in relation to it. We will collect and store personal data, as described in this Data Protection Policy for all owners of Adonis Village.
We will reserve the right to amend this Data Protection Policy from time to time without prior notice. Owners are advised to check the Adonis website (www.adonisvillage.com) regularly for any amendments. We will never share any of the personal data with any third parties.
We will always comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with owners’ personal data.
Responsible person
For the purposes of the Adonis Village GDPR, the AV Data Protection Manager (AVDPM) will be the “controller” of all personal data we hold about the owners. The AVDPM will be responsible for making sure AVMC complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Owner’s rights
Owners have rights under the GDPR is as follows:
- To access their personal data
- To be provided with information about how their personal data is processed
- To have their personal data corrected
- To have their personal data erased in certain circumstances
- To object to or restrict how their personal data is processed in certain circumstances

Specific use and sharing of personal information
All owners’ personal data (name, email address, telephone number) will only be used for the purposes of management and communication of Adonis Village (AV) activity by the AVMC and the appointed property management company in accordance with legal responsibilities. This includes sending invoices related to annual charges, communication with any news/updates about AV, legal notices relating to AV properties, communication with owners about their specific property, etc.
Personal data will not be passed to anyone outside of AVMC or the AV property management company without owners’ prior approval.
AVMC will contact the owners periodically to ensure that the information they hold for them are up to date.
How AVC will protect Owners’ personal data
AVDPM will collect the personal data electronically. He/she will save this securely on a remote server. Access will be restricted to the AVDPM. A backup of this information will be held on a separate secure server for the purpose of resiliency.
In the unlikely event of a breach of the security of data, AVDPM will notify all the owners promptly after a security breach is detected.
AVDPM will never sell or pass on any of this personal data to any individual or organisations outside of the AVMC.
Request to see the personal information
If owners wish to know what personal data AVMC holds for them, they can email the AVDPM (), the AVDPM will respond within 14 days of the request (depending on availability).
Accuracy and retention of data
Each individual owner is responsible for keeping the (AVDPM) informed of changes to their contact details which is updated periodically.
The data collected is kept on a secure server, saved on the cloud, and is kept on a European based server. The data will be kept until the owners sell their property and pass their title deed to another owner. It may however be kept for longer period on certain circumstances when there are ongoing issues to be resolved after the sale of a property has taken place.
