Adonis Village: Request for External Change –  Unit N3

Description of proposed external change:

To complete the work orignally approved to make changes to the balance of 3 windows and the front door. This was approved back in 2017 but only half of the work was carried out.

Front door and windows to stay the same size as exiting

 

Colours and style of materials to be used:

Supplied by Malcolm Morley as throughout the village

    The Adonis Village Management Committee has received the above External Change Request (ECR) from the owner of N3 and is now being EVALUATED. All owners may contribute their view in response to this request by adding comments here and the owners may also add further information if required.

    Hi Rob, Can you clarify what works specifically you are requesting? I note that you state this is to complete the works originally approved in 2017. However, can you specifically state which windows will be replaced and whether the entrance door will be replaced or renovated? Can you also confirm that these remaining doors and windows will the same as as previously fitted and fitted elsewhere in Adonis Village?

      Hi George. The windows that will be replaced are the two front windows and the rear kitchen window. These will be the same uPVC windows as around the village. The front door will be replaced with a new uPVC door as used around the village. The work and products will come from Malcolm Morley.

    APPROVED with conditions - The ‘AV committee has evaluated the above planning request, and following further explanation by the owner, they have concluded that it is very similar to the materials currently approved and used throughout Adonis Village.

    The AV Committee have therefore concluded the above planning request is in keeping with the aesthetic of the village and should be APPROVED subject to any objections from owners in the next 28 days. The planning request has been posted on the Adonis Village Notice Board and emailed to all neighbouring owners. The owner should not commence any works until the 28 days’ notice period has expired and no other owner has made a reasonable objection. The owner will be notified by email once the notice period has been expired permitting the works to proceed.
